Awesome cosplay of my favorite manga character. Now the big question is ... Do you have his boots? Damn I want his boots.

Thank you for the compliment =] I did have a pair of boots when I first did his cosplay, but nothing really stylish as the ones he actually uses in the manga... Haine and Badou are quite playboys, I tell you that xD
(I want them too)

Lol Thinking of Haine as a playboy with his fear of women is just amusing. Although the bond between him and Nill is just adorable. His acceptance of Naoto isn't as cute because it feels like he is straying from the original character design, but I guess it's more of a healing his 'wounds' than accepting her. Badou on the other hand is a playboy without a doubt.

I agree completely about the Naoto part... It's so annoying how Miwa Shirow keep pushing scenes with the two of them... I particularly don't like her, and even more now. Nill, on the other hand, is the perfect feminine character to help Haine overcome his fears. Naoto is just a stupid filler that Miwa Shiro should have killed in the end of the prelude.
Badou is a playboy for sure <3 I bet he hits on everything that moves.

Yes! I find Naoto annoying and unnecessary. Her inability to kill really deters from the feel of the story. Haine is a deranged psychopath that can't die and then Badou is a nicotine addict that goes trigger happy when deprived of his beloved nicotine and then there is Naoto who just kills the badass created by the other two. When she was introduced in the prelude she seemed so different from the other characters that I couldn't figure out how she fit in the story. She's just a traumatized girl trying to be badass and completely failing at it. I wish Haine would just blow her head off or the loli-con priest would scare her away or just get booted from the story in some way.

I totally seconded that!!! When I started reading DOGS I couldn't understand why such a stereotyped character was amongst creative, insane totally awesome characters like Badou, Haine and Mihai. Although Mihai`s story isn't exactly the first of its kind, it is rare to see older characters like him in mangas. And he dates a young lady and all, he IS really nice. Now Naoto?? It's pathetic how she's still out there!! Honestly I'm dissapointed with the later chapters of DOGS. It was nice (more of OKAY...) to read about Haine's past, but when he said to Naoto: "I don't believe someone like me can save anyone" I wanted to die. WHAT THE FUCK WITH THIS EMO SHIT??? He sounds like Cloud in Final Fantasy VII Dissidia, wining over and over and over his own sorry past... This was SO not Haine... One of the things I loved about DOGS is that after Haine told some sorry thing about his past, all broken and awkward Badou used to show up and say something like: "Yeah, Yeah, Dramaqueen, now where's that smoke you took from me??"
Now Badou is all: Oh, my Hainey is growing <3 And Haine is flerting with Naoto and I don't like where things are going....(It bothers me so MUCH that are fans of dogs that actually like Naoto. COME ON, PEOPLE. It's pathetic!!! There is a fight and Haine is fighting a hundred mad Dogs from the underground, thousands of bullets everywhere, he and Giovanni butchering each other and Naoto is there WITH A SWORD?????? FUCK, she can't heal. She is dead. Stop calling us fans stupid, Miwa Shirow. For fuck's sake... .__.)
Sorry, I got emotional with series I love ._.

I agree. Dogs is the one manga series I get all spazzy about. It was interesting to read about Haine's past but it dragged on too long I was was getting antsy for it to get back to the story. I'm disappointed at how Naoto has been woven into the story as a major character in the most recent chapters. Her only moment I enjoyed was when Magato appeared and both him and Haine looked at her pointing towards each other saying "Boyfriend?" I'm disappointed in the recent chapters, yes, but not enough to stop reading. I just love Haine that damn much.

My favorite moment of these last chapters was when Haine asked if Naoto's sword could kill him and she asked him back if he wanted to die. Now, THAT'S a plot! - It IS intriguing for as immortal emo bastard like Haine to know that there is a way where he can die when/if he wants. (And a non-romantic explanation of why he and Naoto are becoming "partners". Which I prefer over the "Let's marry and have children" explanation that some fans might come up to).
I won't stop either! Haine and Badou are just too adorable for me to stop <3
